Updated Movie Synopsis

With filming underway my group now has our story all figured out as well as settings and characters.

The updated synopsis is as follows.

4 University students, Charlie, Andy, Emma and Dan, rent out a house for their second year at Uni.

After moving in they talk about how the cheap the house was and that it was a real bargain and as they start to settle in they soon realise that it's not just the price of the house that's out of the ordinary.

They discover the house has a very dark past, as it was once owned by Brian, a local mechanic and handyman and apparent Psychopath. He kidnapped countless victims who he proceeded to torture, rape and murder. Eventually one got away and was able to kill Brian who upon dying swore revenge against the woman who drove his very own pitchfork into his heart that he would someday return and get revenge against her own children.

Charlie later finds out the woman who killed Brian  was her own grandmother and as she panics, believing that she is in danger her friends simply shrug it off as an urban legend... besides, as quoted from Dan, "who names a Psychopath Brian?".

The following evening slowly descends into madness as Dan, Emma and Andy are killed off one by one, Charlie is left to face the man her grandmother was unable to silence 50 years ago as he prowls the dark shadows of the house, waiting for the perfect moment to get his revenge.

This synopsis differs in a few ways from the original.

The first being slightly different character names and the second, whilst not explained the synopsis, was the withdrawel of the CCTV style camera work. Whilst there are some handheld shots we felt that the CCTV style wouldn't work when used as much as we originally planned, we only have a couple of shots so far that utilise this particular style.
