Filming planning

Our planning for the filming of our trailer is as follows.

We decided to do 2 shoots during the holidays, early on so not to interfere with any celebrations. These sessions were used to film all of the obvious day time shots, and by that I mean the shots where we show it's day-time and light outside as well as some of the simpler night-time shots, for example the drinking scene and Dan's death.

After the holidays and after the acquisition of various special effects gear such as make-up we plan to shoot the night-time shots, most of which involve gore of some sort hence the need for the make-up such as liquid latex, fake blood, moulding wax and face paints.

So far the filming has taken place at Owen's, one of our group members who plays Andy,  house as it had everything we needed, a driveway, a garage, an attic and various rooms and layouts that we thought would work well with some of out shots.

So far we've used only a hand full of props including:

• "Dummy Camera"
• A literal dummy head
• Bottles of alcohol
• Clothing for "Brian" which consists of blue work overalls and a gas mask
• suitcases and boxes
• Car

The props we will need to use include:

• A pair of pitchforks or similar tools with the centre prong removed
• Make-up for gore effects
• Bloodied knife

Of course as we develop ideas further over the course of the filming sessions we may use other props, in which case this post will be updated.
